The Center for Environment, Community, & Equity (CECE) is American University’s umbrella for environmental work across the AU community. We are committed to cultivating trans-disciplinary work that focuses on the interrelations among the environment, community, and equity. Building on the university’s long-standing strengths in social justice and environmental protection, CECE is forging new paths for addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
