Michael Culbert
Research Associate, CECE
Michael Culbert graduated with a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University’s School for International Service in May of 2026. Michael’s concentration lies in water governance, and he is particularly interested in community-level water management and its potential to promote resilience. He has conducted research on regional level water management in Uzbekistan and worked as a research fellow in CECE’s inaugural DataCorps cohort. He now studies multilevel governance of complex environmental issues as a Research Associate for CECE.
