Andrew B. Martinez is an Assistant Professor in Economics at American University. His research focuses on issues related to time series econometrics and forecasting, empirical macroeconomics, and climate econometrics. His recent work has explored how to model and predict hurricane damage and their impacts on the macroeconomy. He has also studied the dynamic interactions between the polar ice sheets and how those relationships can be used to provide better projections of future global sea level rise.
