Paul Yoo
Assistant Professor, Finance
Dr. Paul Yoo is an assistant professor in the Finance Department. He joins Kogod in Fall 2023 after completing his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Yoo is a leading expert in sustainable finance, fintech and banking, and monetary economics. His research in Sustainability centers around the role of investors’ non-pecuniary environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) preferences on asset prices. He received the top prize at the 3rd Annual FIASI-Gabelli School Student Research Competition on ESG and was a finalist at 2022 BlackRock Applied Research Award. Dr. Yoo will teach and conduct research on Sustainable Finance and related topics.
